Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) has closed the first half of 2026 with its strongest partner intake to date, welcoming 40 new healthcare providers, clinics, and allied service companies into the free zone community. The additions span specialties from cardiology and dermatology to physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging, reinforcing DHCC's position as the region's most concentrated healthcare hub.

A Growing Free Zone Community

The new cohort brings the total number of licensed facilities across DHCC's two phases past the 200 mark, with independent clinics, specialty hospitals, and wellness operators now sharing a single, purpose-built district. Occupancy across DHCC's clinical buildings has risen by 12 percent year-on-year, reflecting steady demand from both resident patients and international visitors seeking treatment in Dubai.

What the New Partners Bring

Among the incoming operators are three multi-disciplinary clinics, a dedicated women's health centre, and several boutique practices focused on sports medicine and rehabilitation. Each new partner completed DHCC's licensing pathway through the Centre for Healthcare Planning and Quality, ensuring every facility meets the same regulatory and clinical governance standards that anchor the free zone's reputation.

Looking Ahead

DHCC's leadership expects the pace of onboarding to continue through the second half of the year, supported by streamlined licensing timelines and the ongoing build-out of Phase 2 in Al Jaddaf. For prospective operators, the free zone continues to offer 100 percent ownership, a dedicated regulator, and a built-in patient base drawn from across the Gulf region.
