Every first Saturday, DHCC opens a free family health-screening morning in Phase 2, Al Jaddaf, with no booking required and activities for children too.

Starting this quarter, Dubai Healthcare City will host free community health screenings on the first Saturday of every month in Phase 2, Al Jaddaf, giving families across Dubai a simple, no-appointment way to check in on their health.
Each session includes blood pressure, blood glucose, BMI, and vision checks, staffed by volunteer clinicians from DHCC-licensed hospitals and clinics. Dedicated stations for children cover growth tracking and basic dental checks, while a separate table offers free consultations with a nutritionist for anyone who wants tailored advice.
The screenings are deliberately built around families rather than individual patients: a supervised play corner keeps younger children occupied while parents complete their checks, and short talks on topics such as sun safety, healthy snacking, and sleep for school-age children run on a rolling schedule throughout the morning.
No booking or Emirates ID is required to attend, and all screenings are free of charge. Sessions run from 9am to 1pm at the Phase 2 community plaza; residents are encouraged to arrive early, as queueing for certain stations can build up toward midday. DHCC plans to add a second monthly session in a different district location before the end of the year.
