Wellness
From walkable boulevards to free monthly screenings, here are five ways Dubai Healthcare City is weaving wellness into everyday life across the district.

Wellness at Dubai Healthcare City is no longer confined to a clinic waiting room. Across the district, everyday design choices and community programming are turning the free zone into a place where healthy living is simply part of the routine. Here are five ways that shift is showing up.
Phase 2 in Al Jaddaf has been designed around pedestrian boulevards, shaded walkways, and dedicated cycling paths that connect clinics, residences, and green space. Residents and staff can move between appointments on foot rather than relying on short car trips, quietly adding activity to the working day.
Monthly pop-up screening stations, staffed by DHCC-licensed clinics, offer blood pressure, glucose, and BMI checks at no cost. The sessions are designed to catch early warning signs before they become appointments, and they double as a friendly introduction to the district's healthcare providers.
New F&B tenants across DHCC are required to offer at least one low-sugar, low-sodium, or plant-forward option on every menu, and nutrition labelling is now standard at district cafes.
Weekly outdoor yoga, walking clubs, and light stretching sessions run in the district's public spaces, open to residents, staff, and patients' families alike, free of charge.
Every new building phase now includes landscaped courtyards and rest areas, reflecting DHCC's view that recovery and prevention both benefit from access to daylight and greenery, not just clinical care.
